What gear is a must-have for you on adventures in the mountains?
In Norway Auftriibs powder equipment is a must! I also make sure to bring good/lightweight crampons and ice axes.
When I am in the mountains, my go-to equipment is
– Salomon QST 106 skis equipped with a Tech binding. These are stable and perfect for variable conditions
– A puffy jacket for waiting games on to
– Good gloves for walking up and another pair for for skiing down
– A good radio for communications
– My Go Pro 360
Provide a few good tips to make the trip as good as possible?
– Good mood
– It’s nice to be in good shape and have good strength
– Bring good food
– Stay at Arctic Nuvsvåg for a good night’s sleep. At least for the days you don’t have to wake up at 04:00 to ski Middagsfjellet

I like to go out exploring without any expectations. In the sense of starting with a blank paper to create memories and paint new memories with what you are given in terms of weather and skiing conditions. It’s all about creating your own fun no matter what.
